Upgrading to Premium

Go to Profile → Get Premium to see the subscription options and start a plan.

Three options are offered (availability and pricing vary by region):

PlanBillingNotes
MonthlyBilled and renews monthly—
YearlyBilled and renews yearlyBest value — around 30% saving vs paying monthly
LifetimeOne-time paymentNever renews; no free trial

Free trial: Eligible accounts can start a 14-day free trial on the Monthly plan (the Yearly and Lifetime plans don't offer a trial). Trial eligibility is tied to your account — once you've used a trial, you won't be offered another. You can cancel during the trial and you won't be charged; if you don't cancel, the Monthly subscription begins automatically when the trial ends.

Auto-renewal: Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and does not renew.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). FitSum does not process payment directly — your payment details are handled by Apple or Google.

Managing your subscription

To cancel, change your plan, or view your billing status, go to the App Store or Google Play subscriptions section on your device.

  • iOS — Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions
  • Android — Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

FitSum cannot process refunds directly — refund requests should be made through the App Store or Google Play.

Restoring a purchase

If you reinstall FitSum or switch devices, tap Restore purchases on the Get Premium screen to reconnect your subscription. You must be signed into the same App Store or Google Play account that made the original purchase.

Family sharing

Premium subscriptions can be shared via Apple Family Sharing (App Store purchases) or Google Play Family Library where your store account supports it. Sharing is configured in your Apple or Google account settings, not inside FitSum — once enabled on the store side, shared entitlements apply subject to the store's own sharing rules.

What happens if I downgrade

If your subscription lapses and you return to the free tier:

  • Your data is not deleted. All history, measurements, workouts, and custom exercises remain.
  • You lose access to premium features immediately, but the data they generated is preserved.
  • If you created more than the free tier limit (e.g. 5 custom exercises), you can view existing ones but cannot create new ones until you're below the limit.
  • If you re-subscribe, all premium features resume with your existing data intact.
